role purpose:
The applicant should be capable of  and Responsible for Post-production (editing) of video projects for clients: TV programs, commercials, TV movies etc. As well as taking full   Responsibility for all aspects of assembling a complete production for clients, including: non-linear video editing and video effects, sound design and scoring, titling and motion graphics.
duties & responsibilities:
  • Designs and implement interactive DVD's for client projects.
  • Prepares encoded and compressed video
  • Working under the supervision of the Video Post Production Supervisor to the highest industry standards.
  • Any other reasonable duties required by the management.
education, experience & skills:
  • In depth knowledge of Post Production Operations specializing in non-linear editing but also with a good understanding of audio post production and graphics.
  • Basic understanding of TV Production including studio operations, lighting, audio and vision control.
  • Understanding of MAM systems and their application in a multi-client environment with particular relevance to Post Production.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to translate client's requirements into practical solutions.
  • At least 3 years in a Media Post-Production Operations.
  • Should be familiar with AVID, FCP systems and HD.
