role purpose:

The Venture Capital Associate will assist the Venture Capital Director on the day to day operations of ibtikar.
duties & responsibilities:
  • Create Business Plans
  • Deal with investors and brief them on business plan proposals
  • Any other tasks that are required by the  Ventrues Director

 
education, experience & skills:
  • Arabic speaking
  • Deal experience - entrepreneurial / start up / early stage / small cap deal experience most critical (i.e. venture capital or very small cap corporate finance lead advisory background), buy side next most important (venture capital / private equity investment background)
  • Sector experience - media / mediatech / TMT, in order of preference
  • Degree in Accounting / Finance
  • CPA, CFA, ACCA is an advantage
