Head of Communications - UAE National
Role PurposeThe role oversees and guides the Marketing Communications functions and ensures best-in-class marketing, branding, sponsoring & events activities. Bears overall responsibility for developing, planning and coordinating of integrated communication activities & campaigns for twofour54. Provides professional guidance and support to subordinates in carrying out the assigned functions. To work in close cooperation with the Director Marketing & Communications in developing and managing a strategic communication plan (both internal and external) that positions the ADMZA in the market and builds a sense of inclusive community within the ADMZA.
Duties and Responsibilities1.1 Overall responsibility for establishing, developing and directing the communications function for the ADMZA.
1.2 Oversee and lead all Communications activity on behalf of the ADMZA both external and internally for both the ADMZA management and ADMZA partner community.
1.3 Ensure all communications activities; planning and execution are at the highest levels (best in the industry).
1.4 Oversee and successfully manage third-party relationships with relevant key partners and stakeholders to ensure objectives and desired outcomes are achieved.
2.1 Build and manage external ADMZA positioning, perception, and vision.
2.2 Promote the ADMZA purpose locally, regionally and internationally with all key stakeholders, potential partners, and relevant media sources.
2.3 Ensure the commercial and strategic objectives of the ADMZA are achieved.
3.1 Build a robust, engaging and relevant internal communications process/system for the entire ADMZA (management and partners).
3.2 Create a sense of inclusive community.
3.3 Maintain ADMZA employees and media partners informed about events and initiatives.
4.1 Manage stated budgets.
4.2 Provide leadership to the Communications team in their development and the development of the communications functions within the ADMZA.
4.3 Ensure that the team develops and operates with a culture of best practice that is sustainable.
5.1 Provide support for COO as required to assist in the fulfillment of their roles.
5.2 Contribute to ADMZA strategy development.
5.3 Conduct periodic reviews of work in progress with direct reports and compile weekly reports for the senior management team.
Experience• Minimum 10 years’ experience in senior leadership communications role.
• Proven record of successfully developing and leading high-performance teams.
• Successful record of achievement in communications.
• Experience in pan territory communications management
• Regional GCC/MENA experience highly desirable
