To work closely with communication manager in developing and implementing an internal communications strategy which will contribute to positioning twofour54 and its overall objectives, values and principles amongst the staff. To partially support PR activities and external communications. Support all activities in the Press Office year round from managing media requests to assisting with general administrative and database assistance to the department as required.
Duties & Responsibilities
1. Communications – conduct and implement an internal communications plan and part support external communications
1.1 Develop and implement an internal communications (IC) strategy working alongside the communications manager and other teams such as, senior executives, members of the human resources team and departmental managers.
1.2 Develop an understanding of the company’s goals and values and include it in the IC plan.
1.3 Draft English/Arabic communications materials including, but not limited to, online and social media copy, e-newsletters, intranet & extranet posts, press releases, Q&A, talking points, and media briefings.
1.4 Manage the bi-monthly external newsletter and its creative content which is dispatched to twofour54’s database of stakeholders and partners.
1.5 Work closely with different business units to develop and manage the IC channels.
1.6 Support PR related projects and tasks by working with the communications manager and agency.
1.7 Assist the PR & Communications team with public relations and communications activities and tasks as directed with key focus on IC management.

2.1 Operate as an integrated member of the communication and wider marketing team, involved in the implementation of business strategies, plans and materials.

Education, Experience & Skills
ï‚§ Proficient computer skills including Word, Excel, Photoshop and ability to learn event specific applications.
ï‚§ Some familiarity with the trade, business or vertical media in the Middle East.
ï‚§ A basic understanding of public relations techniques arising from training and /or experience.
ï‚§ Evidence of verbal and written ability in both Arabic and English; background in communications at college or professional level; high energy level, enthusiasm, good organisational skills.
