The visual communications manager will conceive and design visual concepts to best convey twofour54’s messages to intended audiences as well as lead a team of graphic design interns. The role involves creating digital and BTL collateral, graphics, social media posts, corporate presentations, design infographics, and story boards for videos.
Duties & Responsibilities
1.1 Oversee all creative and visual brand work and production for twofour54, ADFC, creative lab and MZA
1.2 Continuously update the brand’s creative to match the brand’s vision and objectives and current design and creative trends
1.3 Actively evolve design strategies which promote excellence
1.4 Uncovering new ways to incorporate emerging and new media formats into campaigns.
2.1 Work with the marketing department to create original graphic content for the company and develop an aesthetic and brand that reflects the company’s core values and ideals.
2.2 Lead design on all company collateral through corporate and creative and overseeing all design projects, from conception to delivery. Determine how best to represent a concept visually and Determine which photographs, art, or other design elements to use.
2.3 Create content for social media accounts (twofour54, creative lab, Abu Dhabi Film Commission and MZA) across all platforms (twitter, Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn) while communicating through creative and innovative graphic and design
2.4 Oversee the concept development and execution of video content for twofour54, creative lab, Abu Dhabi Film Commission and MZA
2.5 Work with line manager to grow a small team of graphic design interns to help with creative content requests from marketing and communications. Reviewing intern designers’ work to ensure high quality.
2.6 Maintain brand consistency throughout all twofour54’s marketing projects. Liaise with marketing and other departments/agencies to ensure deadlines are met.
3.1 Introducing and applying expert art direction to the visual elements of creative projects
3.2 Ensuring a high standard of visual execution across all media and campaigns
3.3 Reviewing the work of agency interns and providing direction and feedback
4.1 Present creative campaigns to relevant stake holders.
4.2 Hold monthly and quarterly design review meetings with departments to ensure they are satisfied with the work produced.
4.3 Liaise with third party providers and agency as and when needed.
4.4 Help to source and manage freelancers and interns as and when required.
4.5 Work with account managers and business development teams to create design and branding material for client pitches and oversee production.
5.1 Expert knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite.
5.2 A strong knowledge of typography, image manipulation, illustration and animation
5.3 A keen eye for visual details and accuracy
5.4 High level IT skills in the latest art and design packages
5.5 A good awareness of digital media and evolving online platforms
5.6 An innovative approach to the media and the ways in which advertising is carried
5.7 Excellent project management skills
5.8 A passion for creating stunning visuals which match the client brief and help to deliver amazing ROI

• At least five years of experience in a similar role
• Expert knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite

• Bachelor Degree level
• Qualification in design
Arabic language preferable
